This new media meme that USC is going to be challenged in the Pac-10 for the first time this year is terribly ignorant of history. During the streak, USC’s biggest challenge was always in the Pac-10. In fact, other than Texas in the National Championship, the only teams that beat USC were from the Pac-10.

Weird, I haven’t heard a damn thing about the sophomore. I have, however, heard that Notre Dame is an embarrassing 1-3 after beating Purdue then losing 3 straight games. I’ve also heard their defense is horrible. Again, haven’t heard jack sh!t about Te’o.

Yeah… considering I actually continue going to USC games despite the program being on probation, sanctioned with no bowl games, and having roster depth that might not last the season… yet still support the team… I’M the kind of fan that makes us ALL look bad!

@WESTWOOD: It’s called passion for football. USC fans tend to be more passionate because they’re used to having a program with winning tradition to root for. Can’t say the same for the Baby Blue Powder Puffs. You wouldn’t know what it’s like to have a consistently good football team.

the two losses don’t feel so good. the two wins feel great. Since all 4 teams UCLA’s played have been in the top 25 at one point or another this season, I think it’s about what you’d expect this year. SANCTION ON!
I can’t imagine a trojan fans feeling great at anytime during their four-game winning streak why? because USC has beaten teams that are worse than they are.
Our 2-2 record may not look as good as a 4-0 record on paper, but surely considering how every trojan fan on here said UCLA would be 0-4 at this stage of the season – our 2-2 record is nothing short of spectacular, and the feeling is indescribable!!…can you Trojan fans say the same about your 4-0 record? I didn’t think so.
