Basketball Commitment

James Blasczyk, a 7-foot-1 center from Lee College in Baytown, Texas, committed during a weekend visit to USC. He spent his freshman year at Texas A&M before he transferred. He gives USC another incoming 7-footer with DeWayne Dedmon of Antelope Valley College scheduled to enroll in January.

  1. “Big” pick ups!…Great, now you’ve got two 7 footers, neither one can walk and chew gum at the same time..These 2 COMMUNITY COLLEGE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER TRANSFERS (teh, he, he, he) will No Doubt “neutralize” UCLA’s incoming, former High School Allstar TWIN 7 Footers (North Carolina Transfers). Someone better tell Howland he’s wasting his time w/North Carolina Transfers, because the real talent is at Lee College in Baytown, Tx. and Antelope Valley College!
    Fit On Trogan!

  2. @ThaiMex, how did it feel to watch USC basketball sweep UCLA last season?
So sugary sweeeeeet to own Pauley Pavilion last year, just like we own the Rose Bowl!
    Fight on!

  3. Instead of taking the Southern Cal approach in responding (when ever your Creampuff, in shambles, rudderless, overmatched, sanctioned F-ball program is criticized , I could respond with something along the lines of the following… “Our heritage speaks for itself, we have more number one draft picks than anyone, We OWN MORE NATIONAL TITLES (none mythical) than Any other school,we have sent more players to the NBA than anyone. Former head Coach JRW, has a U.S. post office, a street, and Elementary school named after him though i do believe former a SoCal football player had his PICTURE POSTED is a U.S. post office)…I’ll try a different more practical approach. Every 60 years or so (once in a LIFETIME)….S.C. manages to sweep the series. Congrats! You should be thrilled to have witnessed this ONCE IN A LIFETIME OCCURRENCE…sort like seeing Haley’s Comet or witnessing a total Eclipse.
    Fite on Trogan!
May you live to be a 120! (and may your children live long lives and also be able to experience this once in a lifetime phenomenon).

  4. TiedMax,

Sounds like UCLA BB is living in the past. You have been ever since the Harrick cheated his way to your last NCAA crown — the only one in nearly three decades since Wooden retired.
