“I felt like I should have made the play. I let my team down. It’s tough to bite this nail right now but Mitch made a great pass. I should have caught it. There’s nothing I can really do about it now.”

No shit Sherlock! What happened to RoJo. Started the year off like he was going to be sensational, and then just got mediocre.
I don’t think he got mediocre. I think the playcalling got conservative with him and Robert Woods. There are far too many bubble screens. I feel bad for RoJo–he’s been so good for so long and it sucks that his last pass attempt this year ends the way it does but that’s life.
I don’t know if it was Teague Egan, Michael Michaels, or Rodney Guillory, but the envelope wasn’t FAT enough this time, my trOJan brethren. Haha, CHEAT ON!!!
talk about a stand up guy. keep your head up RoJo! it was a tough break, wet ball, we all know those ultra wide open balls are tough to grab.
Woods is a great reciever but i am more worried about RoJo coming back with a vengance against UCLA next week.
Johnson is mediocre, too bad for the team.
It happens in sports. In football, a wide-open WR drops the ball. In basketball, a wide-open lay-up or dunk is blown. In soccer or hockey, a player misses the wide open net. In baseball, an OF drops an easy flyball. We are only human.
Still, I can’t believe he dropped the ball. Fair or not, Ronald Johnson will be remembered along with other USC goats: Jeff Fisher’s tipped pass to Freeman McNeil; LaVale Woods’s fumble; Reggie Bush’s ill-fated lateral, etc.
