I think this is Lane Kiffin’s worst game as offensive coordinator and I’m giving him a pass for having a new QB. Totally ignorant feel for the game from the way he is calling plays and why doesn’t he punt on 4th and 3? By the way, does everyone see why Matt Barkley’s been starting the past 2 years now?

After a quarter, the Trojans with the narrow lead thanks to Chris Galippo’s interception. Neither offense looks especially dynamic right now.

Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott released a statement commending Cal for self-imposed disciplinary sanctions for faking injuries against Oregon. The only thing missing a statement from Cal on the matter.
