Recruit Watch

Is there a more important prospect out there for USC right now than offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio from Hyattsville, Md.?
He is considered the No. 1 offensive tackle in the country and has USC in his final five along with Alabama, Auburn, Iowa and New Mexico. One thing USC can offer is a starting spot with Tyron Smith going pro and the offensive line in flux for next season. OT Matt Kalil and OG Khaled Holmes are the only returning starters and every other spot is up for grabs, especially if Holmes moves to center.

  1. Scott, you’re just trying to set up the Trojans so you can gloat if he goes to Auburn or Alabama. Come on.

  2. Cyrus is headed to Alabama…but if anyone can change the minds of any of these recruits with other verbal commitments, it’s Coach O. Go get ’em ba-by!

  3. How is this a “Recruit Watch?” All you did was ask a question and then state who is final 5 are, which is already known by everyone.
