ESPN reports that Caesar is talking to former Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels about becoming the Seahawks offensive coordinator.
McDaniels, you might remember, got rid of Jeremy Bates in Denver two years ago, which led to Bates’ hiring at USC. And Bates was also no McDaniels fan because of the poor relationship between McDaniels and former Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler, who was very close to Bates.

Why do I get the feeling that you pull most of this stuff out of your @ss? Very little of what you wrote here seems based in actual knowledge. In fact, like most of your stuff, this appears to be pure speculation.

My guess, is that you assume Bates resented McDaniels treatment Cutler because he was his former position coach. Did Bates ever tell you this? I’d bet diamonds to doughnuts that he did not.
