Answer Sunday!

Time for another answer.

Do you expect USC to redshirt many of their commits, and which commits will play?

A: This will be a little different than normal times. Wide receivers George Farmer and Marqise Lee will not redshirt, which is not unusual for skill players. But I don’t think offensive linemen Aundrey Walker and Cyrus Hobbi will be able to redshirt either. With D.J, Morgan able to play, I think Amir Carlisle will redshirt unless he shows himself to be exceptional at training camp. The quarterbacks will obviously redshirt unless Matt Barkley gets hurt. Defensive lineman Christian Heyward will probably also redshirt. Lane Kiffin would like to redshirt as many players as possible to try and keep balanced classes if scholarship reductions are coming.
I think offensive lineman Marcus Martin will definitely redshirt along with linebacker Charles Burks. Defensive linemen DeVante Wilson and Antwaun Woods will depend on the depth at defensive line and how they perform early. Among linebackers, I expect Lamar Dawson, Tre Madden and Anthony Sarao to all get shots at playing and one will probably start.

Apparently, Wolf hired an intern to answer this question. Two paragraphs and the author put some thought into it. No way Wolf had anything to do with that response.
