USC tailback Marc Tyler suffered a concussion in Saturday’s scrimmage and is out for the time being. Tailback Dillon Baxter said he will return either Saturday or early next week from his high-ankle sprain. Safety T.J. McDonald had a tooth knocked out in the scrimmage and required stitches after the tooth had to be removed from inside his mouth. Tailback Curtis McNeal suffered a back injury but returned to practice today.
Tight end Xavier Grimble was limited today because of chest and shoulder pains.
