Caesar’s View

Pete Carroll drafted Stanford cornerback Richard Sherman in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. In 2009, Sherman intercepted a Matt Barkley pass and returned it 43 yards for a touchdown. Carroll famously blamed the wide receiver on the play and didn’t credit Sherman (or blame Barkley).
Maybe he changed his mind.

I’ll give 5th year senior Richard Sherman credit for the interception if he’ll accept the blame for getting torched for 223 yards by a true freshman named Robert Woods. Look at the glory of Stanford’s #9 in the link below. I’m glad he’s a Seahawk and that RoJo and the Niners will have a shot at him twice per year.
