The NCAA appeals report noted that Susan Cross Lipnickey, a professor from Miami of Ohio, recused herself from the committee. It did not list a reason why she removed herself. She was replaced by William Hoye, executive vice president for administration, planning and legal affairs at the Institute for the International Education of Students.
“Institute for the International Education of Students” — sounds like a CIA front.
My best guess is that she recused herself because she has her degrees from Ohio State. If that is true, then I would say that is probably appropriate, considering the matters at hand would potentially affect the Ohio State investigation. Maybe it was for other reasons.
I think it was due to her intimate relationship with Missy Conboy!:)
I understood that she recused herself because she has a conscience.
Actually, the official reason she recused herself was because the proceedings were a travesty, a sham, and a mockery. They were a traveshamockery.
