Reggie Bush said he will post a phone number at 2 p.m. (PDT) today on Facebook and Twitter where his fans can call and ask him questions.
I think every USC fan should call him and ask why he put their team on probation.

    Reggie, why are you such a cheapskate? Why didn’t you pay off Lloyd Lake and none of this would have happened? $300,000 is pocket change for a guy who has made $100+ million.

    You beat me to it, gotroy22. I just can’t fathom why he didn’t pay off Lake. It can’t just be the money. That’s pocket change for Reggie. Arrogance?

    I can’t wait to call. I think I’ll invite him to a game and ask what happened to his number banner in the peristyle end. He could bring his parents too. I can maybe get the autograph that was denied by his bodyguard at Salute To Troy. I could introduce him to all my friends at the game and they could truly show their great love and how much we really care for everything he has done. We would show him our forgiveness for his greed and his dishonesty personally.

    We could press Mike Rae’s caddy to let him to finally reenter school and get his USC diploma and speak at the graduation ceremony. Just as other Trojan football heroes have recently done. I’m sure I can get him to make a substantial donation to add the Reggie Bush wing to the new McKay football building.

    Maybe he would show me the Heisman Trophy which he has not returned…yet. He could give an inspired speech to the football team before the game too. He could make a push to get football practice open to the public again. He could insist that USC sue the NCAA and contribute to some of the legal costs and join McNair’s lawsuit and testify as a character witness. Everything would be wonderful once again.

    TROGAN FOR LIFE!…and are you guys lucky. Because of Reggie, Southern Cal is going to be dragged into the McNair debacle…sort of anyway. McNair doesn’t really want his case to go to court. He knows he screwed up, but he also knows there is 100% NO WAY the brain trust at Fig Tech wants Petey, Garrett, Bush, and the other knuckleheads to “tell all” UNDER OATH. So Cal boosters will end up digging deep, to keep McNair and his legal team from EXPOSING the biggest bunch of FRAUDS, LIARS, and cheats we’ve seen since the good old days of ENRON.
    Too Bad, because it would have played out well on the Big Screen!

    Actually, in the grand scheme of things the Reggie Bush debacle could be looked at in a positive light from the standpoint that this expedited the departure of PC. Don’t get me wrong, PC did a phenomenal job job of bringing the SC football program back to priminence, but the fact of the matter is that over his last two years the program was eroding. This was manisfested with the ass whooping Stanford and Oregon laid down on SC two years ago. This was due in fact to two items. 1.) Recruting had fallen off at certain positions; offensive line/defensive line and linebacker. For some reason PC and his idiot kid Fredo thought the game was 7 on 7, and these positions did not matter. 2.) The departure of just about every quality assitant coach that PC had: Norm Chow, Tim Davis, Ed Ogeron, etc. Eventually PC surrounded himself with nothing but YES men, I.E. Rock Seto, who would not disagree with him.
    Now with Kiffin running the program recruiting has improved and they have quality assistants across the board. Look for SC to win 10 games this year due to the fact that the players will be experienced in Kiffin’s system, and they will be a more disciplined team and not make silly mistakes that cost them games like last year.

    I think I would ask Reggie if he agrees with me. Although he could’ve definitely handled this whole thing differently, USC would not have been as good without him, so I’ll take the memories with #5 rather than complain. Every college football fan remembers Reggie Bush running around his opponents (even with cash in his pocket) and helping carry the Trojans through a decade of dominance. Pac-10 titles, Rose Bowls, National championship, Heisman, etc etc etc.
    You aren’t the only one who did what you did, so I’ll cut my losses as an SC fan and thank you for the memories.
