  1. What is the most appropriate tool for loosening a #9 Torx screw?

    (a) A #8 Torx screwdriver.
    (b) A #9 Torx screwdriver.
    (c) A small flathead screwdriver.
    (d) A small flathead screwdriver that fits well.
    (e) A #7 Torx screwdriver, held at an angle and turned deliberately.

  2. Leinart won 2 national championships and had SC positioned for a third straight, but his defense let him down.

  3. Palmer by a mile, Leinart was lucky to have all of the weapons he had, just look how great his pro career has been.

  4. Obama and NOBS, agreed!

By the way, Obama, the prez does not hate Jews just because he is trying to broker a Middle East deal that requires serious concessions of the Israelis. But I better steer clear of politics on this blog

  5. Ya’ll know if we compare any of these QB’s against the great ol’ Dicky Brehaut of Westwood, ol’ Dicky’s taking the crown!!

  6. Quarterbacks? Pshaw! I remember the days when the quarterback was just that anonymous guy who handed the ball to a great running back!

  7. Palmer had the advantage of a much better defense than Leinart same could be said for Booty and Sanchez.

  8. The answer is so clearly Matt Leinart. Dude was like 34-2 with one loss coming in triple overtime (on the road at Cal) and the other coming in the Natty against a game Texas team.

Palmer was mediocre to poor for three seasons before finally putting it together in 2002. In fact, if I was to take a second quarterback to lead a USC team, I’d probably pick Mark Sanchez, whose only loss in 2008 came at the hands of a very tough Oregon State team. He would have won the game too, if not for a few elements of bad luck, such as Joe McKnight botching a wildcat play and a terrible personal foul called on a defensive lineman (forgot who it was) immediately followed by a missed INT turned touchdown for OSU right before halftime. That same Oregon State team went into Salt Lake City and had Utah (the team that annihilated Alabama in the Sugar Bowl) beaten before the Beavs managed to choke the game away. Meanwhile, Florida loses at home to a pretty weak Ol’ Miss team and still gets the Natty nod over SC.

Booty was average (Rose Bowls) to poor (Stanford/broken finger) and Barkley has shown nothing thus far. I hope Barkley watches a lot of tape of Palmer to figure out how an uninspiring, but technically sound QB can turn around his career and have a great season or two.

    FIGHT ON!

  9. @huntingtonharvey: to be fair, Sanchez DID have a great defense. Best statistical defense in recent memory if I remember correctly. Couldn’t stop Jacquizz Rodgers to save their lives, but pretty good in all other games, haha

Ps. Wolf, what about Matt Cassell?

  10. Who is the least pathetic UCLA quaterback of the last 10 years?

    a) Corey Paus b) Drew Olson c) Matt Moore d) Ben Olson e) Kevin Craft f) Kevin Prince
