  1. If the NCAA stays consistent with it’s recent sanctions then it’s hard to see Kelly not being fired. And if they NCAA puts any sanctions on Kiffin at USC for whatever may have happened at Tennessee then it should theoretically do the same to Kelly at any other job he’ll find. It’s going to be tough for Kelly to find another college job with perspective programs knowing they’ll already be stuck with his baggage. Unless he goes to the SEC, they seem to be the teflon conference.

  2. With fairness to USC, the Trojans never had to pay recruits to go to school there. The high-profile program, tradition, hot girls, campus and academics brought them there.

Those players turned out to be so good that sports agents wanted to lock down their business early to capitalize on their guaranteed NFL success.

However, the Ducks have to pay out-of-state recruits to even set foot in Eugene. That’s pretty funny.
Probably half of these Texas recruits can even find Oregon on a map.

I’ve been to the UO campus. It’s okay. Autzen Stadium is a joke, though. It looks like a high school stadium. Plus nobody outside of the west coast had ever heard of the Oregon Ducks until this past year. Then the entire U.S. got its first glimpse of the “mighty Ducks”… getting killed by Auburn and losing their second straight bowl game under Chip Kelly.

Although the damage is already done for USC and it doesn’t matter what happens to Oregon, I predict Chip Kelly has coached his last game for the Ducks.

  3. I have mixed feelings about this. I’d rather see USC get back to the level they were at and have at least 2 dominant teams in the Pac 12. Maybe it’ll be Washington and SC in the future?

  4. Where the F is oregon11? That dude is more scared than bucksh*t after the last 8 SC FUCLA foozeball games…

Talk about cheating. This is paying to have players come to your school. SC is not even in the same realm as this crime. If oregon doesn’t burn for this, we’re going to Indi!!!!!!!!

  5. ok time for a some gym maintenance (dumbbell check): since El Lobo Mentiroso won’t point out the obvious facts (don’t know what’s wrong with Lobo lately), looks like Cadre will have to do some edumacatin’:

    1) Oregon’s alleged transgressions are strictly secondary in nature. colleges using a recruiting service is perfectly legal. these recruiting services talk to the kids all the time, sometimes on a daily basis. so what we are talking about here is mostly the recruiting service’s sloppy record keeping. the recruiter admitted HE DID NOT CHECK THE RULES prior to starting his company, so if anything Kelly is guilty of trusting too much. not much there. probable penalty, some recruiting restrictions.

    2) Southern Cal can never go “Indi” (oh they would have if they could, believe it)!!! Everyone hates Southern Cal!! by contrast, most people like Notre Dame and Penn State! which is how they pull(ed) it off.

    3) more evidence Southern Cal has no street cred is the fact that they got a “even split” share in the Pac 12 Confr contract!! you think ND would accept a contract where they got an even share as say, Wazzu who hasen’t been to a bowl in a cat’s age???

    4) HAWR-HAWR!!!!

  6. Bucket,

You have finally made a decent point with no. 3, actually not but the fact that UCLA receives an equal share of the football money is absurd isn’t it?

  7. LMAO! $C didnt play players to go there? Ahahahahha aha did anyone follow Reggie Bush in HS? He wanted to go to Norte Dame yet ended up at suc! CHILD PLEASE! I say pay all the kids ( not an outrageous amount but a little something) this way the kids really choose the School for the school and it’s coaching staff! CHEAT ON SUCSTERS! Your motto should be ” if you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying NO RESPECT”! FUAAAA

  8. The Ugly Bucket is the opposite of E.F. Hutton. Remember, “E.F. Hutton says…,” and everybody is highly interested.

Ugly, by contrast, says something and you immediately discount it as some heavily anti-SC bias, or some of his silly egotistical rantings.

Everyone hates SC?– Who is everyone, Ugly, you and a few of your no-count little bruins?

Funny, but in my travels to Auburn, Ohio State and Nebraska the atmosphere was electric. And I mean electric. All those fans knew of the Trojans, and they were filled with awe and a heavy dose of fear.

  9. Mr. Bucket, please read your son the Yahoo NCAA Football report on this subject, before he lectures others on being stupid. Didn’t they warn you about reproducing, sir?
