Former Nebraska QB Cody Green said he is considering USC as a school to transfer to for the upcoming season.

I think some people just toss out “USC” to increase their stock. After all, what mid-tier school wouldn’t be interested in a QB who was “considering” USC.

We’ve got enough quarterbacks. Move along please!

Not to slam on Nebraska, but if someone can’t be the starting QB in a run-first offense like Nebraska, then he’s even less likely to beat out our top 3. Then again, stranger things have happened. Would he transfer as a walk-on?

@sureshot, the reason for Green considering USC is not to raise his stock, it’s because USC is known to offer scholarship to mediocre QB transfers that could not make it anywhere else…does Mitch Mustain sound familiar?
