Former USC baseball player Gabe Alvarez is going to be a full-time assistant coach next season for the Trojans’ baseball team. Alvarez will be joined by new pitching coach Dan Hubbs, which means baseball must still add a volunteer coach.
Alvarez was an assistant last season but should assume a larger role following the departure of Doyal Wilson.
