Joke Of The Day, Part II

Here’s an exchange between Matt Barkley and Lane Kiffin:

BARKLEY: Well, he’s in the same place for two years in a row now, which is good (laughing).
KIFFIN: Nice.
BARKLEY: I’m happy. That’s good. The same coach for two years in a row now, we’re progressing.

  1. Speaking of head coach/quarterback jokes… did’ja hear the one about Matt Leinart joining the Seahawks and reuniting with Cheaty Carroll? The rest of the NFC West is going to laugh all the way to the bank.

It’s the 5th anniversary of 13-9! Celebrate TroBans! We probably saved you from having to give back another crystal football in a couple years.

  2. dynasty –

try to think just for a minute on the absolute stupidity of your comments. i’ll help you out, since you’re a nimwit.

you are trying to mock the fact that:
    1) USC’s previous head coach is an NFL head coach, and making $Ms
    2) a former USC QB playing in the NFL, and making $Ms.
    3) USC was 1 game away from another national championship.

    the equivalent for ucla is:
    1) ucla’s previous head coaches are probably giving bjs in a back alley
    2) ucla QBs aspire to work the night shift at a jiffy lube
    3) ucla sanctions itself every season with another unremarkable 5-7 season.

  3. Bark had time to work on material for this media day, and that is all he could come up with.

How about, “The worst thing about Coach coming back for a second year is that it means he has to hear my same lame jokes all over again.”

  4. nice revisionist history….Ring the bell, school is now in session

    – SUC’s Head coach fled to the NFL with the NCAA hot on his AZZ for creating an environment where payers were easily paid by boosters (read the NCAA report dummies)

    – a former SUC QB washed out of a team featuring the best WR in the NFL and was known more for partying with Phoenix area high school girls and holding Kurt Warner’s jock than any on field accomplishment

    – SUC for all its cheating and alleged “dominance” has ZERO national titles and is widely regarded as one of the dirtiest programs since SMU. Tarnished reputation and no on field accomplishments, nice daily double dummies.

Meanwhile, you can bash UCLA all you want but we’ve produced two of the greatest Super Bowl winning QB’s in NFL history (Troy Aikman and Joe Montana) while SUC QB’s fade into a Bolivian.

  5. ucla delusional as usual,
Joe Montana?????????????I believe he went to Leprechaun U.

  6. Dynasty – are you a buffon or what? Joe Montana? I wouldn’t say Sanchez has faded you big douche nozzle. Go back to the ucla blog and talk about QB’s, you haved got a real pair on your squad this year. And, your big recruit Hundley busted up his knee playing BB and has to have surgery!! Know that is funny ROTFLMAO

  7. talk about buffons, Tro-70 are you a teenager or just an ignorant slob like NUBS and his star cross’d lover, Mono? making fun of a kid who got hurt?

that one goes into “the file” at Cadre HQ…

  8. @Trojan 70 – that is really classless of you to be laughing at a kid busting up his knee…in all the time I’ve spent on here, there has NEVER been on of us Bruin fans EVER making fun of any injury to a USC player, or wishing an injury to any trOJan player, but it’s called karma, don’t forget what you posted, and when it happens to a USC player (perhaps Barkley) I want you to think back to this thread. Karma, baby, karma.

  9. You guys, I keep telling you — UCLA Dynasty is just putting you on. The Joe Montana thing is further proof. Maybe when UCLA Dynasty claims that Rudy Ruettiger went to UCLA, you’ll believe me.

Anyway, everyone knows that UCLA produced the famed QB Golan Globus; there’s no need to make stuff up.

  10. BruinNob – It must be your Cerritos education that makes you so stupid. What is stupid is he hurt his knee playing BB, not that he got hurt. He is supposed to be the savior of your God forsaken football program. Lots of luck there – now that is funny right bruinnob?

  11. @trOJan 70 – by your logic then, if a QB is riding his bike on a hill for the purpose of conditioning, and he gets hit by a car and he becomes paralyzed, it would also be funny to you because it happened while practicing another sport, right? or running bleachers, or hiking, etc.

You’re a dumbass, period. You must be related to KNOBBED.
