Morning Buzz

If there is one thing to understand about Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott, it is that he likes change for the sake of change.
Not improvement, just change.
The conference will announce today that Craig Bolerjack and Joel Klatt are the new football broadcast team and the broadcasts will somehow be revolutionary. Bolerjack lives in Utah and is the voice of the Jazz. Klatt is a former Colorado quarterback.
So he wanted to suck up to the new members of the conference. No problem. But this is the best he could do on the heels of that mammoth TV deal? Can’t wait to see who he hires for that new Pac-12 Network.

The new announcing team is a big disappointment. It fits a pattern with this clown Larry Scott. He promised us a Pac 16 and managed to bungle that so we gave up our traditions for two weak sisters. I can hardly wait for the road trip to Boulder in November. We lose our weekend trip to the Bay area for the sake of TV. He won’t change the game times to earlier in the day to maximize East Coast viewership. He continues to hold the Pac 12 basketball tournament in LA instead of rotating it to Phoenix, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle to build interest. He really a big talker with little imagination or success.

amazing that Wolf is now an expert on available broadcasting teams… as for announcing teams once the new TV deal kicks in, how about Gus freaking Johnson!

It’s kinda sad how this blog becomes a reflection of the person that writes it… sad, bitter and negative. Seriously, when was the last time there was a positive story about anything?

Lance – that’s why there are barely any subscribers to this blog. Scott’s the equivalent of a D celebrity in the world of journalism.

sweeet scooopin’, wolfman!! besides, the Candy Dish Blog, this is my favorite blog of all, and it’s because of you, wolfman!!

despite the fact that somehow you got stuck with the dregs of Southern Cal fans, (the low rent, uneducated, vulgar ones) you still make a great go of it, dishing out sweeeet scoooops and hard hitting commentary!!!

you just keep oooooooooooon scoooopin’, wolfman!!!

Very happy to see a change for the Pac-12 GOTW. Ive never heard either call a game so I cant really say if they are good or bad. Very suspicious of the claim of “revolutionary” broadcasts.

The thought of “Who the hell is Craig Bolerjack went through my head”, much like “Who the hell is Petros Papa-whatever” did for those unfamiliar with USC when that beak nosed, oily faced, greasy haired, girly high pitched voiced, lispy, pale and bloated carcass first appeared on thier TV screens for the first time.

Papa-whatever is either desperate to stay on television or is under contract and has no choice or say in the matter. The sideline reporter is now tired and played, as well as useless and pointless. Not sure why he would want to be one of “those guys”.

Don’t sugar-coat it, USC ’89. Tell us what you really think.

Petros is definitely gonna be the ugliest sideline reporter babe in history.

    Petros got hosed!

  • obama the jew hater

Lived in Utah, Bolerjack is awful, very bland. He’s also a jerk. I was in a restaurant and he got pissed when they didn’t have his table ready, gave them the ” Don ‘t you know who I am ” routine.

Larry Scott, more like Larry David, and he’s curbing my enthusiasm for college football with his stupid moves that destroy tradition. He only looks good in comparison to that idiot Tom Hansen, but there’s no reason why we couldn’t get a smart SC-trained business major to do a better job.

Let’s leave the humor to Wolf gotroy.
