Practice Report

Lane Kiffin does not like to name starters for the game but left guard Jeremy Galten again took all the snaps with the first team and was fired up for the game.
“It’s awesome,” Galten said. “I’m so excited for Saturday.”
Kiffin said Abe Markowitz is still not ruled out of the game. Neither is freshman tailback Amir Carlisle (sprained ankle). Curtis McNeal and D.J. Morgan remain the frontrunners at tailback. Linebacker Chris Galippo took all the snaps with the first-team defense so it looks like he starts at middle linebacker.
Wide receiver Robert Woods said he is fine despite having a swollen elbow. The bursa sac on his elbow burst and blood was removed to alleviate the swelling. He said he did not feel any pain. He also got some rest during practice to keep his legs fresh.
