Who said Pete Carroll and Lane Kiffin have nothing in common? Kiffin blamed Matt Barkley’s fumble and an interception on the offensive line and said the other interception was just a fantastic play by Vontaze Burfict.
Carroll never blamed the quarterback either.

Silver Lining

Linebacker Dion Bailey said the ASU loss wasn’t as bad as it might have been because of the way USC played.
“It was better losing the way we did,” Bailey said. “We beat ourselves. It wasn’t a straight-up loss. We didn’t play our best game.”
