No Distractions

Lane Kiffin made sure not to say too much after practice today regarding his $10,000 fine and reprimand. He told the team about the fine this morning and briefly discussed it with them.
“I can’t answer anything,” Kiffin said. “Regardless of anything I can’t answer anything that has to do with (the officials).”
Kiffin said he did not think this would be a distraction.
“Our concern is not what people are talking about,” he said.

  1. If he hadn’t called the officials liars he probably wouldn’t have been fined. I think he had justifiable complaint, but he was not very diplomatic in calling them liars. I wonder if Jones or McKay ever called the officials liars in public?

  2. “Smoke weed, talk sh*t like Lane Kiffin.”

@NJ Trojan: Well, the ref did lie to him. And I’m pretty sure that’s what he said specifically, not that the refs were “liars”. There is a difference.

Larry Scott is show-boating. That is the problem here. Look back at my post game comments. I knew Larry would make it about Larry. I just thought he might come down on the side of justice and good football, not pansyball.

  3. Hey Monopoly, are you gonna include me with the haters just because I think that Lane Kiff should have been more diplomatic and not said that the officials lied? As an SC alumni I have to keep it real and say that Lane should have kept most of that to himself.

Also, what’s up with your racist, bigoted comments? Thats not good for SCs image.
