  1. So who will be the first to bite and take the bait? This is what Scott does for a living. If his ranking of BS was not out of whack he wouldn’t get any attention.

  2. Arkansas looked terrible.. they were exposed for the frauds most SEC teams are aside from the top 2.
Boise State is average and would handily lose to USC.
Okla St needs to prove it belongs with a W over the Sooners next week.
Georgia=UCLA. Frauds of their division and will get massacred by LSU.
USC is back. Barkley & the upperclassmen or not. We get to watch the young studs for the next few years. Bailey, Pullard, & Dawson will be incredible to watch the growth.
Marqise Lee is an absolute monster.
What a great season.. onto 2012 and our return to dominance.. FIGHT ON!!

  3. Clemson at 15? They have lost 3 out of the last 4 games(NC STATE, Georgia Tech, and South Carolina). A team ranked that high should not have their record over the last 4 weeks. Thanks

  4. Three Pac-10 teams will be in the Top 10 this week, next week, and at the end of the season. That’s not bad.

We finished strong, but the loss to ASU and no more games to erase that memory weigh heavy.

  5. Georgia in the top 10 is a farce.
Likewise, Arkansas at #3, and most definitely Clemson, South Carolina & Va Tech anywhere close to that high up.
Virginia, Georgia Tech and Penn State are 3 more tragedies not deserving to be on any list.
Wisconsin is way too low on the list, and no one really knows anything about TCU or Boise State to know how they would compete with the other teams on the list.
And should anyone forget, fucla lost to Houston by 4 pts., not a ringing endorsement for a #12 position. But trying to fill out a top 25 these days cannot be fun. There are not 25 top teams this season.
Lane Kiffin for coach of the year – not that the NCAA will ever allow that to happen.

  6. Well done Scott. Your insane support for Boise State means we’re tied with them in 9th place this week with only seven points separating us from 6th place.

  7. I have to agree with a lot of the comments, Arkansas at #3 is absurb. Their best wins are over an overrated Texas A&M team and a South Carolina team that was missing a few major players.
I think BSU is a good team but I am sure that they would have more than one lost in the PAC 12. Look at Utah they had the easiest Pac 12 schedule and were unable to capitalize thus my respect for non-BCS team is somewhat diminish.
Georgia, aside from being an SEC team I don’t recall one of their major wins, maybe Auburn. Clemson makes no sense and Wisc is underrated.

  8. WHERE’S SlobDusky? Out with NDickLarry and ThaiBean for brunch. The Three Stooges with the three little Slobs. Don’t worry SlobDusky, my bRuin maid is cleaning the $h!t out of the urn. ROFLMAO

  9. NOBS,
the girls are licking their wounds, give them a few days to recover, they will be back. They are like cockroaches they may disappear but they never go away.

  10. What can I say? I really thought the Bruins would show something different yesterday at the coliseum, but they didn’t. I don’t remember a single blitz, I don’t remember any different defensive alignments from previous games, this had to be the easiest task for the USC Offensive coordinator all season.

As for the shut-out, I don’t think UCLA was concerned about just getting on the scoreboard, we had three different opportunities to kick a 30 yard field goal…so enjoy you 50-0 shut-out – and since most of you are into putting asterisks, I will one of them myself next to our “zero”.

Asking if USC should be playing for the Pac-12 Title is as obvious as asking “is NOBS is the biggest fat ass and the biggest butt hole?” – duh, it’s a no brainer.

However ladies, and few gentlemen, it’s how the dice rolls, UCLA played and won the right to play from whatever teams were eligible to play in the Pac-12 championship game, unfortunately, USC was not one of those teams.

I woke up this morning feeling great about life, as I realize that college football is just a game and a sport that adore – and it may be the only thing that I share in common with the USC fans…and UCLA had lost 100-0 it would not matter, for I love my Bruins til the day I die and I thank God for making a Bruin fan. You can have your Heismans, NCs (cheating or not), you can have you wipe-out win against UCLA, but I know one thing I would rather be a Bruin a million times more than a trojan, and you can take that to the bank.

  11. Agree with much of what’s been said.

Arkansas is not a #3 team. Scott must not have paid his cable bill this month. Arkansas was blown out earlier by Alabama and now LSU. Losing by 24 to both teams does not earn Arkansas a #3 ranking. Arkansas offense against LSU was pathetic – 11 first downs and 254 total offense – and defense wasn’t much better. They were on borrowed time.

Boise State is not that good this year. Struggled early vs. Wyoming. To be top 5 ranking, BSU needs to win more convincingly based on their weak schedule. They have not done this in over the past month.

Georgia – flavor of the month. Georgia will get exposed in SEC championship game. Other than winning against a rebuilding Auburn, Georgia has won numerous close games and benefits from a weak schedule. But, I’m happy for Mark Richt.

USC is too low. I don’t know that they could beat LSU or Alabama right now, but they are one of the best teams in the country. Definitely the most rapidly improving. I think they would beat Stanford if they played again, but since Stanford beat USC, I would rank Stanford over USC. Other than for LSU and Alabama, I’m not sure anyone could beat USC right now.

VaTech – nice to see that Wolf doesn’t have the same VaTech love-affair that everyone in the media seems to have. This is probably just coincidental though. VaTech is not that good, with wins against a weak schedule.

Oklahoma – also on borrowed time. Without Ryan Broyles, OU is just a mediocre team. I think Oklahoma State wins big against Oklahoma in Bedlam.

South Carolina – beat Georgia and has played better football of late. South Carolina should be ranked above Georgia, but knowing that both would get destroyed in SEC championship game.

Michigan State – best Big 10 team. great defense could shut down quite a few offenses right now. Plus a win over a much improved Michigan. Wisconsin football is run up the score on lesser opponents, but struggle against decent teams. Wisconsin has played a very easy schedule, but has 2 losses (Michigan State and Ohio State) against the three remotely decent teams its played (win against Penn State). I expect Michigan State to convincingly beat Wisconsin in Big 10 championship game. Oregon’s offense vs. Michigan State’s defense should make for an interesting Rose Bowl.

Clemson at #15 makes absolutely no sense. They are terrible, and the team quit. They should not be ranked, nor should GaTech, Virginia or Penn State.

Florida State, Louisville and BYU are each playing better now than first half of the season. And although ND once again beat themselves last night, they are not that bad of a team.

    1. LSU (12-0)
    2. Alabama (11-1)
    3. Stanford (11-1)
    4. USC (10-2)
    5. Oklahoma State (10-1)
    6. Oregon (10-2)
    7. Michigan State (10-2)
    8. Boise State (10-1)
    9. South Carolina (10-2)
    10. Oklahoma (9-2)
    11. Georgia (10-2)
    12. VaTech (11-1)
    13. Houston (11-0)
    14. Arkansas (10-2)
    15. Michigan (10-2)
    16. Kansas State (9-2)
    17. Wisconsin (10-2)
    18. TCU (9-2)
    19. Baylor (8-3)
    20. Florida State (8-4)
    21. Southern Mississippi (10-2)
    22. Nebraska (9-3)
    23. Louisville (7-5)
    24. BYU (8-3)
    25. Notre Dame (8-4)

  12. Well i don’t comment on this site much but today I will. Yes I HATE SC as much or more then the next BRUIN but I’m not a “hater”. SC looked fantastic and it’s not just because my BRUINS didn’t show up. I hope that the ass whopping you handed us makes someone with power get rid of DG the issues at UCLA go far beyond RN. Congratulations to the real SC fans not the “Johnny come latelys”. I hope Barkely leaves 🙂 but I know he won’t. We are looking at the next hiesman. GO BRUINS!

  13. @bruinbeatch –

Perhaps you should think about the Richard Nixon quote when declaring your hate of USC. Hating us will not better you or ucla. It will only destroy you.

“Always remember others may hate you but those who hate you don’t win unless you hate them. And then you destroy yourself.”

  14. USC has a good chance of ending up in the top 5 since some teams ahead of them will lose in bowl games.

  15. Lol @bruinslob-

Slob, were you crying when you posted this morning? Reading your post, I can’t help but picture tears coming down your face as you posted your comment! Lol

Thanks for your explanation of everything. Now go back to sucking as bad as any fucla team has ever sucked.

And oh btw, I owe all you pandas an apology. Remember how I’ve been calling you guys mediocre? I take it back. You guys are definitely NOT mediocre!

Enjoy your time in Eugene! Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. And guys, imagine how good we would be if we had our beloved ‘lil kicker Mario “the Screaming Eagle” Danelo! Who knows where his urn is? I gotta pi$$ bad!

  17. GREAT time to be a Trojan. I gotta say, even when USC was up by 4 touchdowns last night, I was STILL very much into the game, because this team is just THAT much fun to watch.
A special season it truly was….

  18. How does Scott ……..
When I say hate it’s just a rivalry thing. I’m a Cowboy fan naturally I “hate” the skins. All my SC fans hate UCLA its a rivalry. I don’t lose sleep over it. I’m I dodger fan I hate the GIANTS! It is in fun not like I’d stabe someone at a tailgate or nothing. It is still a game!

  19. Gman, thanks for the “D”. NZeroBS is really SlobDusky. Notice how they want to “kiss and make up” after an @$$ whippin’. Totally hilarious. SlobDusky and the three little Slobs just got back from brunch with ThaiBean & WEBfoot. All total losers.

    FIFTY-ZIP

  20. Scott, ban N’zero’BS now from this site. You cannot make fun of a dead kid… Nope not ever…

  21. Well it has been a GREAT week. USC beats the heavily favored Ducks in Eugene. Bucket is busted and turns out to be some geek sportwriter/odds maker from Cal State Northridge and the Trojans absolutley annihilate the baby bruins in their all white uniforms. No CerritosLob, it gets no better than that. When the Ducks lay 60 on you next Friday and I sure you will still be proud to be a bruin wannabe from Cerritos adn then you can petition fora toilet bowl game. We all feel great about life as well because the Trojans on this site are proud as hell of our school and our football team. Why don’t all the bruin trolls take the month off from here and post on your own blogs. In the spirit of Christmas, go home since your credibility here is irretrievably gone forever. See you losers…

  22. Gnossos: I knew who it was. It is easy to spot the fake N0BS, just like all the other doppelgangers. Making fun of a dead kid is as low as it gets. Bruins have no class … or football team.

  23. Ha! My Band of Brothers seems to have no problem with me making fun of someone’s dead wife! But bring up the Screaming Eagle and they turn all damp eyed and mushy.

To honor Screaming Eagle (deceased at age 22), I am playing “Fly Like an Eagle” on my iPad. There, better fellas? I’ll also be playing Side-B of Jimmie Hendrix’ Crash Landing album.

  24. NZeroBS is really bRuinSlob. What a loser. Bad karma making fun of someone that killed himself.

  25. @bRuinRob: after Oregon dismantles your default divison representative (you’re not the division winner.. just the representative.. LOL) when is Fucla’s next game?
    BUAHAHAHAHAHAHA scoreboard! 50-0 Fight on!

  26. bRuinRob – you should be thankful you don’t have any more games to lose, yet you do.
The Trojans will be glad to start out the 2011-2012 season with a win, something all you bRuins would be oh-so-thankful for, regardless of whether or not you have tasted victory in seemingly forever against a quality opponent.
    Defeat is soooooo wonderful.
Since your last victory against the Trojans is back in what are now seemingly the dark ages, don’t expect RN’s successor to bring instant gratification – that can only come with your right or left hand.

  27. NzeroBS probably has never even been in the same restaurant as a bottle of Screaming Eagle, which, all of you little Bruin posters on this site, is something you should try when you grow up. Along with a few other things, such as sexual relations with a real (preferably live) female, moving out of mom’s basement, and getting a relevant football team.

Comforting way for USC to end the season: with momentum and with a lot of class by its players.

Thanks to the informative comments any/all of you may leave. Look forward to the insight from New Jersey as recruiting heats up.

  28. How stupid is that? Ark @ #3 and Georgia @ #7? What is your love affair with Georgia BTW? You listed their POS team No.1 ahead of USC during the Leinart year as I recall, drop by SC med center sometime and get your brain checked out or ……has it “checked out” already???

  29. “we had three different opportunities to kick a 30 yard field goal” – RuinBob. Spoken like a true ucla fan.

    19741975 Dick Vermeil
    19761995 Terry Donahue
    19962002 Bob Toledo
    20032007 Karl Dorrell
    2008Friday Rick Neuheisel

Starting to notice a downward trend with the level of head coaching @ UCLA.

  30. Hey RuinBob,

Your own Quarterback(if that’s what you want to call what he does) Kevin Prince said that you snuck into the championship game, you’re there because of a technicality, that you’re an asterisk in the record books, and that you didn’t earn it.

  31. A good SC team would have beaten UCLA by 70. VT is way better than SC. They may beat an easy schedule, but SC lost to ASU – what does that tell you? CHRIS PETERSEN ON!
