A USC spokesperson said there are no plans to sell the “South Division Champions” T-shirts that players wore after Saturday night’s game.

    True we’re gonna get killed on Friday night in Eugene, but it sure beats sitting on my sofa drinking your sorrows away for not being allowed to play in the inagural game, and it will be extra funny when a Reggie Bush commercial airs, let that serve as reminder as to what the consequences are for cheating.

    anyways, self-proclaimed titles are nothing new to Southern Cal. they have “claimed” numerous obscure “natl champeenships” over the years, i especially like the one the “discovered” recently from 1939 when they were ranked first in only 1 out of 13 polls !! the AP named Texas A&M champs as did 9 other publications!! Even Cornell U, who finished first in TWO polls that year and they didnt have the shamelessness to try to fraudulently proclaim themselves as champeens!! The Cornell AD said it was embarrassing for Southern Cal to try to claim the title when Cornell had more right to do so and they wouldnt do it.

    If you look at the standings, then USC won the division. A corrupt organization took it away. The players already lost out on a bowl bid. No loss of integrity by giving them a t-shirt that reflects the actual standings in the South Division.

    By the way, did they make any Bruin shirts that say Southern Division Replacements? If so, will poor Guatemalan kids be wearing them after Friday?

    As for the UCLA trolls, beat Oregon (hawr!) and you can crow all you want about making the Rose Bowl with a mediocre 7-6 record. However, you have no basis to celebrate being a paper division replacement, after your team suffered a 50-0 beatdown in a rivalry that has been recently diminished by UCLA’s ineptitude.

    UCLA might as well be Cal at this point.

    Hilarious at just how Ironic Life is in the World of College Football in Los Angeles…I’ve been laughing mys ass off since Sunday Morning…here’s why:
    1. all season all you SUC tools have been bashing UCLA football, by making asinine comments such as “UCLA should be banned from the Pac-12″ and UCLA belongs in the WAC” and UCLA belongs in the same conference as Occidental” etc. etc. etc.
    2. then before the SUC UCLA game the Pac-12 Conference releases a press release claiming that ‘regardless’ of the outcome of the UCLA SUC game “UCLA can call themselves Pac-12 South Division Champs.
    3. SUC then goes on to narrowly beat UCLA in the game on Saturday night. and now:

    @Moron, I’m not calling the kids on the USC team “cheaters”…I’m calling USC and their football program “cheaters”. As for these kids on the team, every single one of them KNEW that USC was being investigated and that they might be on probation, and they still chose to come to USC regardless, so NO, I don’t feel sorry for any of the players not being able to go to a Bowl game, or play for th Pac-12 title on Friday.

    As for UCLA playing in the game this Friday night, no, they don’t deserve to, USC should be playing in it – but, it’s not UCLA’s call, they are being assigned the task/previlege of representing our division, due to USC’s ineligibility. Will the game be a blow-out? most lilkey.

    The UCLA kids won the minimum 6 games during the regular season, so they should be considered Bowl eligble, and after they lose to Oregon and with a 6-7 record, they should and they will petition to the NCAA to make UCLA eligible to play in a Bowl game.

    With the chance to play for the Rose Bowl on Friday, it is the reason why every Pac-12 player commits to their schools, it is the reason why every UCLA player came, for exactly THAT opportunity.

    The current freshmen and Sophmore USC player knew beforehand hand that they would NOT be playing for any championship or any Bowl game this year…so no, I don’t feel sorry for them not getting this chance to play this friday, they already knew they would not…so please stop all your non-sense.

    they don’t have the caliber of linemen,

    so it takes a perfect game by the skill players to beat a good team

    if and when the Ducks get NFL linemen, they will roll on good teams and win it all
