Timing Is Everything

A little less than two years ago, Jack Del Rio was in the mix during USC’s coaching search to replace Pete Carroll. But Del Rio did not want to forfeit money he was due from the Jacksonville Jaguars. So his chances dimmed and USC hired Lane Kiffin.
Two years later, Del Rio is out at Jacksonville and Kiffin’s comfortably placed at USC.

  1. he has a less than one and 50 chance of ever being the USC coach now. i bet his odds are better than 0 of being ucla’s coach.

  2. Wow, DelRio would be a great DB coach, assistant def. coord or whatever. Kiffen would never hire him tho.

  3. Timing is everything…just ask Seantrel Henderson. Wonder if he’ll transfer back if allowed to like USC’s Juniors/Seniors were when they got whacked by the NCAA?

  4. @SECTION 12.. I’d bet that LK wouldn’t give him a scholly or the time of day actually. Seantrel Henderson, damn sure not a “Trojan”!

  5. Goatboy Kiffin better not get too comfortable. The PAC is getting rid of all those shit coaches, except Suckisian. It will be better. Goat is still a choking dog. Once teams learn how to tackle his bubble screens , he is toast.
JDR has no time for college football … he mentioned that stuff is for amateurs and baby sitters. Morons like Kiffin can win 10 games in college , but they lose 10 in the NFL. Goat proved that.
