Do you receive extra compensation for participating on this blog, and do you have free reign on what you post?

A: No, I do not. I do have a lot of freedom on this blog, which is a wonderful aspect of it and one reason I enjoy it so much.

Are the recent “soft verbals” from 4 recruits a sign that USC has it’s sights and possibly silent commitments from better players?

A: Yes. There is a delicate dance for USC right now with 15 February scholarships and trying to squeeze the most out of it. So even if someone commits now, there might be a change by signing date.

  1. I saw a list of the offers USC has made, and what I don’t understand is if someone accepts and commits, is it binding on the school to give the scholy?

  2. No matter who wants in, there better be Turek-McCarthy type bodies in that bunch if you are going to play small LBs & RBs behind the D & O lines or they will get beaten up!

  3. @steve49: No. The commitment is not binding until a valid Letter of Intent is fully executed.

  4. who cares about your answers. You and Petros better stop writing and talking negative garbae about USC and Barkley.
