I mentioned earlier today how much fun it might be for Ed Orgeron and Noel Mazzone to go against each other if UCLA hired the ASU offensive coordinator. Orgeron fired Mazzone after a season in 2004.
Imagine if they recruit against each other. It reminds me that in 2000 Orgeron and a former UCLA assistant nearly came to blows at a local high school after the Bruin assistant asked Orgeron why he was still recruiting when Paul Hackett had been fired.

    Someone already alluded to this on the previous post, but aren’t they recruiting against each other already? Is ASU not allowed to recruit in Southern California? Is Mazzone’s photo posted at those vehicle inspection stations near California’s borders?

    Scott, don’t rely on Wikipedia for info on Mazzone. Orgeron was coaching at SC in 2004. He hired and fired Mazzone in 2005.
