Any idea how the NCAA determines scholarship numbers for Non-football/basketball sports?

A: They used to try to find a balance between men’s and women’s sports but football always skews the figure. So they’ve tried to fully fund every women’s sport and cut back on the men’s number to try to get a balanced figure. For example, women’s volleyball gets 12 scholarships while the men get 4.5r. Baseball gets 11.2. Softball usually gets 12. Men’s soccer gets 9.9. Women’s gets 12.

A: I believe Monrovia defensive lineman Ellis McCarthy is heavily favoring the Trojans. I also think Muir defensive back Kevon Seymour favors the Trojans. However, I find him to be a little more unpredictable and I know UCLA assistant Demetrice Martin has Muir ties and will make a huge push.
