Next Wednesday is a time for nostalgia as USC returns to the Sports Arena to face the Bruins. But enough about that. Who thinks Lane Kiffin and Jim Mora will despise each other next year?

    I am saddened by the ignorance of usc grads and ucla grads. I grew up watching these two proud programs during the 90′s and held both very highly. To see the idiotic comments made my you guys on the daily pisses the hell out of me. Have some damn respect. Ok football yippie is that all your about?!?!?! well thats all i hear all the damn time. I recently graduated from ucla and will be attending usc business school this fall but i will NEVER become an arrogant one dimensional fan like a lot of you are. I’m a true admirer of the game that respects all teams in our league and that admires these two fine institutions beyond football and basketball.

    @bfl22: Let me tell you how this usually works. You think you are a BFL, but when you see that more opportunities open for you with your USC MBA, you’ll rethink your whole public persona and at least in your business relations, will emphasize your USC connection and lifetime love for USC football. I have seen this happen to several generations of folks that attended both schools. Bonus is that you will get way hotter girls during your 20s and early 30s if you have those USC tix and 25 yard line or better seats.

    USC won 2 (back to back) national championships that are still recognized by the Associated Press, so your statement is highly innacurate. Of course they also won 1 BCS national championship which was later removed, but innacurate statement nonetheless.
    And “owns” is right. USC won 4 Rose Bowls in 10 years. Nobody else has ever done that and UCLA would like to win just one…

    @jack: Let them rant. They are so respectful of USC football.. they always mention the Trojans and NC’s in the same sentence. No other BCS games, rivalries, etc., so they really put USC up on a pedestal. They are not as dumb as they appear. They know a great football program when they see one. UCLA had one under Red Sanders.
