A: I’ve often said Matt Grootegoed was one of the best linebackers I covered and I would probably place him in the top two with Chris Claiborne based on performance. So it’s a little early for Bailey on that comparison. However, I do think Bailey does have NFL potential. It might be at safety. But he is athletic enough to play in the NFL.

A: Thank you for asking in all caps. I think Robert Woods will be limited because of his ankle surgery. George Farmer still might be able to play because I hear his academic status might be upgraded. I’m not sure if Jesse Scroggins will get to play because he needs to concentrate on his academics to be eligible next year.
@Monopoly…much like your love life…your assumptions appear to be a bit PREMATURE! Perhaps something up near Orlando would work for you…say Fantasyland at Disney World?
From what I’ve heard, a player can participate in spring ball if they are academically ineligible, but must have this cleared up to be eligible for the season.
If being delusional were a sport, UCLA would might actually be relevant.

If Dion Bailey has Matt Grootegoed’s field intelligence, we are in good shape at that position. Matt never made the same mistake twice. He wasn’t the fastest player on the field, but that didn’t matter when he & Lofa were in that defensive backfield. Not many ball carriers got past them. I wish there was a way Kiffin could get a Matt Grootegoed type on his coaching staff.

My only concern in Miami is that Bucket might follow the #USCGANG there to try to swagger jack us. Though he’ll prob be handing out more in those establishments with them rainbow flags out front…
