USC v. UCLA

Time to continue yesterday’s discussion. Who is on a bigger hot seat? Kevin O’Neill or Ben Howland?

  1. There’s no comparison. O’Neil is on the hot seat. Howland is a dead man walking

  2. KO’s is hot, because if he does not win next year then he can try to win elsewhere.
BH’s is even hotter; he has to not only win but win big next year; or possibly there is no next year for him, which means his seat is not only hot, but that he has been thoroughly cooked

  3. BH is coaching at a “basketball school” according to all the dummies!!! Yet he has ZERO champeeenships!!! Of course, he coached the Ruins to three consecutive Final Fours, all of which THEY LOST!!!
KO’s expectations are to get SC into the tourney as SC has done most of this past decade.
Which sounds hotter to YOU, Chucker Bucker???

The REAL question should be who’s seat is hotter: Lane Kiffin to continue being as awesome as he was in 2011 or Jim Lessa to be as “MEAN AND NASTY!” as the Ruins claim he will be?

    AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

  4. In regards to the above comment of UCLA reaching three final-fours and zero championships, it should be noted that the year they lost to Memphis in the final four, Memphis was playing with an ineligible player by the name of Derek Rose…had they reached the finals, who knows what may happened?

  5. Excuses excuses BruinRob, wdf is Rose doing in the NBA anyway? Probably just another washout scrub.

It should be noted, however, that everytime that i can remember rooting for UCLA, they lose, so there’s that.

  7. CerritosLob – at real schools of higher education, they actually teach you how to post on blogs without duplicating your efforts all the time. Boy, that Cerritos education is sure showing up here…

  8. Bruin Rob –

If my grandmother had balls, she would be my grandfather too.

    Shoulda, coulda, woulda

  9. I’m just being too lazy to go to Wikipedia, but when was UCLAs last basketball championship anyway?

  10. it’s probably howland – but it should be o’neill. one freaking conference win is so unacceptable the throne should’ve incinerated long ago

  11. O’neill shoulda been run outa town by now. Is Haden going to let this guy bring in more of his “talent” with all their baggage and bad habits? A quality USC BB program is years down the road now.

Let Cooper have a shot at it.

  12. Maybe Pu$$y Haden is drinking as much as KO and his old lady are. What a joke. Bring back Garrett.

  13. Who cares wolf? This a Trojan blog, not a ruin blog. Why give a reason to the ruin bloggers who are starving for attention to begin with, to come here.

  14. Yes, let’s bring back Garrett, the guy who hired O’Neill. That way, you’ll have both a head coach and an AD berating the players. Awesome.

While we’re at it, let’s bring back Chad Kreuter.
