USC got off to a 7-0 start in part because of its schedule. But this weekend’s three-game series at No. 6-ranked North Carolina should give the Trojans some confidence. After getting blown out Friday, USC only lost 1-0 Saturday before winning today, 5-2.
It is still early but at least there seems to be some signs of finally emerging from the doldrums of the Kreuter era.
