No Tournament

As expected, USC did not get invited to the NCAA women’s basketball tournament. And Michael Cooper already said he did not want to go to the NIT, which seems a bit shortsighted considering he is 0 for 3 on NCAA Tournament bids in three seasons.

  1. We don’t do NIT’s……

At UCLA they hope for NIT’s but only get malcontents and angry bulldog faces from Pittsburgh….

  2. Michael Cooper needs to get his face off the TV sports news about the who cares Lakers and concentrate on being a real coach. He guaranteed a victory over Stanford this past season during his double talk pre-season talks to the alumni. He is zero for six or seven against them.
How is it his choice to decide on what post season is acceptable to the team when he is just a hired, over paid employee of the athletic dept.

  3. Maybe the USC women’s team should offer their place at the NIT to the UCLA men’s team.

And just to preempt the trolls: yes, you could make the same joke about the USC men’s team. But you were the ones actually crossing your fingers for an NIT spot!
