Here are three reasons the No. 1-ranked USC men’s volleyball team should win the national title: 1. The MPSF Tournament is being held at the Galen Center. 2. The NCAA Final Four is being held at the Galen Center. 3. In 2009, there was a grand tSpotal of 22 schools across the nation that played men’s volleyball.
A few weeks ago, I got on men’s swimming for not doing better when the closest quality programs were in the Bay Area.
But how many other coaches at USC wish their sport fielded 22 teams? The Final Four could almost be played at the start of the season.

The first two reasons are legitimate enough. #3 is ridiculous. It really doesn’t matter when you get to the final four how many teams have been eliminated. The best of the lot is usually there to compete in earnest.Winning the Pac-12 title in football is no different than winning the MPSF in volleyball where the very best play the sport.
