Dual Sports

USC football players Tony Burnett, Marqise Lee and Nickell Robey are expected to compete in Sunday’s dual track meet at UCLA. All three are expected to compete in the long jump, Burnett will also do the triple jump while Robey (1st leg) and Lee (3rd leg) should run the 4x100m relay.

  • After suffering for 27 consecutive years of getting owned by UCLA track and field, the trojans seem to be doing okay the last couple of years, but your luck should run out this saturday, and the Bruins will start another 27 year streak.

    Ever wonder why when we have a dual-sport athlete, the NCAA forces schools to have the scholarship count against football? It’s because (comparatively) nobody cares about track. Or lacrosse. Or baseball. Or volleyball. Or (insert sport besides basketball here).
