Big Weekend
USC’s baseball team opens a three-game series at Dedeaux Field against Oregon State. Meanwhile, the track team’s biggest event of the year, the dual meet against UCLA, takes place Sunday in Westwood.
However, the No. 1-ranked USC men’s volleyball team is not playing because the Trojans were upset by No. 2 UC Irvine at the Galen Center on Thursday night in the MPSF Tournament semifinals.
Grand Opening
The long-awaited Expo Line finally opens this weekend. It is important from a football standpoint because USC will encourage fans to use it if the Trojans are ever forced to host a midweek game at the Coliseum.
Word of warning: Exposition Blvd. is expected to be closed between Figueroa and Vermont for most of the next three days.
