USC sprinter Josh Mance posted the second-fastest qualifying time in the 400 meters (44.83) at the NCAA championships. But Bryshon Nellum (45.45) and Joey Hughes (45.41) did not qualify.

You forgot to mention Aaron Brown not qualifying in the 100 Meters with his mind somewhere else at the start of the race. The Trojans used to be king of the sprinters on the national scene. Good luck to Josh, also and the relay team in his event who need to step up and win in their last chance for this foursome. Not like the foursome who played last week in the ncaa golf tournament here in L.A.
