This “epic recruitng battle” is a mockery this year for sure. USC has way too much momentum now and probably for the forseeable future. Mora will last for a couple of years and produce results similar to Neu. Then they will flip Mora and start again. No tradition and heritage in football. And with crappy QB’s no chance. Next…

As long as we only have 15 scholarships a player or two getting away is not going to mean anything.
With ten extra players out there because of USC sanctions it would seriously be an embarrassment for UCLA to not get an exceptional haul out of the local recruit pool. There’s no reason the Bruins shouldn’t get a handful of 4 or even 5 star recruits that USC did not have room for.
I would honestly see locals go to Westwood rather than have Phil Knight and Oregon get a foothold recruiting in California.

i find it very queeeer that Southern Cal’s latest VERBAL commit, Su’a Cravens, announced that while he has VERBALLY committed to Southern Cal, he IS STILL MAKING OFFICIAL VISITS TO MICHIGAN AND OHIO ST.!!!!!!!

Why would 4-star athletes want to go to UCKLA’s football program? The same reason SC can’t get top athletes to go to their basketball program. There is no hope for a national championship run.

Thanks to Versus and FOXSports, among others, I was able to watch all but one of THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA’S 2011 Football telecasts while rocking in my easy chair somewhere in Texas.
For a University that is supposed to be suffering from a NEAR DEATH PENALTY injuction, having 11 of 12 games televised half way around our GREATEST OF ALL NATIONS, is just AMAZING !!! We must be, the most Respected, the most Popular, the most deserving of Praise and Adulation NCAA 1A Football Program in the Land !!! Got it, Chuckie Bucket ?
And Bill. You are just Sh*t on a Stick.
Don’t go away just yet, Bill. I want you to know that I hope the Ucla 2011-2012 Baseball Team can and will bring the Omaha Trophy back to the LA Basin where it belongs, hopefully by STOMPiNG THE SH*T OUT OF south carolina, florida, and whoever else the by damn OVERRATED SEC brings to the table !!!
