Mitchell’s Weekend

USC’s skills camp today brought another commitment as highly regarded wide receiver Steven Mitchell accepted a scholarship offer.
“It’s a done deal,” Alemany coach Dean Herrington told the Daily News.
Mitchell enjoyed a big day during Saturday’s Dana Hills passing tournament and easily convinced USC coaches to make an offer.
That might be it for receivers, so what happens now to guys like Darrell Daniels and Demorea Stringfellow?

USC offered WR Sebastian LaRue today also. Of course you should or would have known that WolfPutz if you were actually “Inside USC” and a competent reporter.

Obviously, the coaches have plans to take 3 WR’s or perhaps think one of these guys will be converted to another position.

mitchell can play cb if necessary – i think he may be a cushion/luxury if hargreaves doesn’t commit. maybe nj can comment. daniels doesn’t seem pleased – though i still think we may pursue him.
