Tweet Of The Day

Who can guess the meaning of this tweet from UCLA assistant coach Adrian Klemm:
“81,235 people applied to #UCLA this year. The most of any college EVER! …Exceptional academics, SAFE & in the most beautiful section of LA.”

IThe tweet went on to read:

    1. Out of all those people applying why can we get at least one five-star recruit that pans out?

    2. With 81 thousand applying you would think at least some of them would buy football tickets.

And let us not forget that UCKLA is in West Los Angeles, traffic jam capital of Los Angeles, and filled with the No. 1 arrogant souless people in the City of the Angels

Hey all, I finally saw BruinRob this morning. He was standing in front of the parking lot at The Home Depot in Santa Ana waving at all the cars that came in. What a friendly guy…

  • usc50ucla0

imposter @ Home Depot Santa Ana… original bRuinRobby serving 180 days in County for pandering

  • Mike

‘exceptional academic’: academics are the exception at fucla.

‘SAFE”: you’ll never have to travel to a bowl game

‘most beautiful section of LA’: you get to stare at tall hedges surrounding fabulous mansions and wonder what billionaire USC grad lives behind them.

  • Dirk Diggler

Wolf, no posts about the BCS approving a four team playoff? But you’re putting up stories about some assistant coach “subtly” dissing SC? In a word: you suck. hey, that’s two words!

Interesting as it seems someone has a bit of an inferiority complex, as Bucket likes to say! Trojans on the brain much, bRuin?

Perhaps this mans tweet will put you all in your place while you are humbled, enlightened, and informed. You people continue to be taught lessons but never apply the lesson being taught. You are all beneath me and it is why I am here to contine to point out and teach these lessons. I wonder how old all of you are, acting in such an immature manner all of the time. One day, you will all learn.

81,235 applied, 2 were white, 1 was black and one was a Latino, the rest were Asian

  • steve49

^ ahh so true grasshoppa. the two whites were refused so the liberals would feel better admitting the black and latino kids.

Actually they sent letters of acceptance to all 81k, then sent out the two refusals.

  • marvgoux

The only reason SC’s academic ranking went up is because Steve Sample began aggressively offering scholarships to those smart Asian students.

  • 611 gayley

at least our asians aren’t gun down walking home from class. i think that’s what he meant by safe

  • bazinga

Neither are USC’s, although as any idiot knows, there are places a few blocks from campus where you do not want to be out after midnight.

At UCLA, on the other hand, you can have your throat slashed in a chemistry lab in Young Hall by your fellow students.

    Maybe that’s what he meant.

  • LanceKiffin

When a campus has something called a rape trail, it seems pretty disingenuous to call it SAFE.

  • BoscoH

    Sounds like a confession.

  • USC Anteater

Fact: higher on-campus crime rate at UCLA than at USC. Does that sound safe to you?

  • VB’s Office Plant

Sounds like he is getting frustrated at the lack of recruiting success at ucla. He will be gone to a better gig in a year or so.

  • ProbationU

Anteater…get your head out of the sand….there are some off-campus issues at SC…lest you forget a recent homicide of 2 SC foreign…not exactly the safest neighborhood in LA…so perhaps that is why you are in Irvine?…as the Anteater part would suggest?

Let’s hope Coach Klemm is more prepared come this fall than he is in his analysis of Los Angeles’ universities.

U.S. News & World Report ranks USC No. 23 and UCLA No. 25 in National Universities.

Latest crime statistics reveal the following for the last one-year period surveyed:

    Forcible Rape – USC 38, UCLA 77
    Non-Forcible Rape – USC 0, UCLA 1
    Robbery – USC 121, UCLA 29 (UCLA’s Only “Win”)
    Assault – USC 50, UCLA 64
    Burglary – USC 275, UCLA 537

  • “Count” Smackula

Oh, how does zhat sayink go? Ah yes….Herr Klemm for zee VIN!!!!

  • usc50ucla0

the biggest assault was at the Coliseum…

  • spedjones

where’d that couple get shot down again? I don’t think it was Westwood! Hood on!

@spedjones, if you had any CLUE about the proximity of that neighborhood to the USC campus you’d rethink that statement. But you don’t have a clue–you’re just a troll.
    1. That neighborhood is outside of USC’s Campus Cruiser boundaries for a reason: students don’t live there (99.9% of them, at least).
    2. What are they doing in the street between midnight and 3am? Think that can’t happen in Westwood where burglary and assault rates on campus are HIGHER than at USC?

    TROLL on though!
