It is so true to know yourself, and then have your actions connect “with the essence of who you are.”

I once tried to imitate Michael Jordan until I discovered I was an average shooter, poor rebounder and even poorer dribbler.– So I eventually just accepted who I was.

“So I eventually just accepted who I am”…a big fat blow bag who was too sissy to play HS football? Yet tough enough to frequently stare down thousands of rowdy Bruins at football games?

ugh. this post by LJ was a head-shaker even by Natterning Nabob standards.

i will say the image of an fat slow white attorney trying to immitate Michael Jordan is pretty amusing. i wonder if he was wearing a red white and blue sweatband around his fat head, with matching wristbands?

    HAWR-HAWR!!!

I’ll only say I don’t agree that Coach McKay was not an icon. He turned SC around when a lesser coach probably would have failed.

And as for McKay’s humor, yeah, he had it– when on t.v. in front of a camera. As a walk-on he never had anything positive to say to me, and in fact, most players feared/disliked the guy. But McKay didn’t care.

KIFF IS THE MAN!!! IN VISOR WE TRUST!!! FIGHT ON!!

Ps. Look how pathetic Bucket is ^ lmao 50-0

  • Trojan 70

Looks who is calling someone a “fat blow bag.” the same guy that has mutliple handles on a competitors blog and talks to himself. Priceless bucket.
McKay was not a players coach, Robinson was in his first tenure. I roomed with a QB at USC who went on to coaching glory in the NFL and McKay could and did not try to pronounce his last name correctly. He did what he was hired to do – win football games.

HAWR-HAWR!! awww, looky-looky at the Nabobs rushing forth to defend their girlfriend the Big Blow Bag!!!

that post was pure gold!! it’s okay to admit it, LJ has accepted who he is, why can’t you???

oh Chucker-Bucker, you’ve done it AGAIN!!

i guess ima gonna have to put the “DAMN, I’M GOOD” license plate holders on both the back AND front of my sweeeet ride!!! Dummies.

  • usc50ucla0

cardboard license plate holder on the FRONT & Back of a shopping cart!?! WOW that’s more interesting than another fUCLA football season of losses

  • USC owns the Rose Bowl

I see things haven’t changed–aka–the nerd that calls himself “Charlie Bucket” (ThaiMex/”Count”/Yoda) still has no life and continues obsessing over USC enough to troll the blog each and every day. Terrific!

We love that you come here, Bucket. Goes to show who’s who in Los Angeles!

See you in late August. FTFO!

Lawyer john, you are not the first person to talk about McKay’s behind the scene attitude. He had his favorites and even though he was not immune to breaking the rules as we remember SC was santioned 2-3 times during his reign, he was successful enough to be revered. He should have never gone to Tampa Bay. That was not his true element. Pete Carroll, so far, appears to be similar in being more successful on the college level. If Kiffin developes into a sound & consistent wiining coach, I hope he looks at history and not necessarily at greed.
