The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation said “the Foundation conferred this morning to further consider any additions to the Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List and decided that one player, USC’s Marqise Lee, merited being added.”
And here’s a quote from Foundation Selection Chairman Ritchie Pickron: “The Foundation includes an exclusive group of receivers on the Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List. It is apparent, upon further consideration, that Marqise Lee should be on the watch list. Accordingly, he has been added today.”

  1. In other words, the idiots over there left him off the list, and received many complaints due to their stupidity, so decided to add him to the list.

  2. Lev is reporting that Redfield committed to USC. They have room for 2 more. USC should return 8 LBs in 2013 including all 3 of its current starters. Theyll add Hutchings but Id like to see them add at least 1 more. Maybe Matthew Thomas (6-3, 205) from Florida? One of the bigger Ss could slide down but USC will only be returning 3 safeties 2 of which have yet to play a game at USC. USC will add Cravens and Redfield but I think they should add one more. Maybe Leon McQuay (6-2, 185) also from Florida?

  3. No one goofed. The organization quietly changed one of their key rules. Lee is the first sophomore I can recall ever being placed on the “watch list” (although underclassmen can, and do occasionally, win the award).

    Too bad no one is giving Lee the appropriate praise due here. This is really a significant deal, for an underclassman to be placed on the watch list.

  4. I am really rooting for RBs McNeil & Morgan because if they have solid games this coming season, then who is going to stop this offense?
