Kiffin On Penn State Transfers

Lane Kiffin said today he could not talk about Penn State tailback Silas Redd’s potential transfer but he said the athletic dept. contacted the NCAA yesterday to make sure it was legal for Penn State players to transfer to USC, which is on probation.[EP
“The information I have been told is that it was OK,” Kiffin said.
Kiffin also said wide receiver Robert Woods’ ankle would not be 100 percent when USC opens practice next month. Woods said his ankle is about 90-percent recovered.

  1. Of course USC would already be trying to lure players from Penn St, a very disrespectful move given the school is still grieving from the scandal

  2. Billy, please don’t tell us that you feel bad for Penn State. Really? Just admit that you are simply a jealous bruin fan.

  3. Actually we haven’t started luring Silas Redd yet. We merely contacted Penn State to notify them. And we aren’t luring ‘players’. Just one. But I’m sure we’re like the only school who is even thinking about contacting PSU players.

  4. Hey Wolf, Since it is open season on recruiting at penn state, are coaches allow to visit kids on campus? just wondering.

  5. I have it on very good information that Billy and Sandusky were more than ‘friends’.
