Morning Buzz

USC received a commitment from shooting guard Kahlil Dukes of Capital Prep Magnet School in Hartford, Conn. Dukes (6-feet, 160 pounds) raised his profile this summer by leading several tournaments in scoring and is the Trojans’ first commitment for the Class of 2013.
USC will sign six players this year.

  1. Wolf’s blurb should have included the following from ESPN’s blog

At the time of his commitment, the 5-foot-10, 160-pound Dukes had a slew of other offers pile in recently, among them Loyola Marymount, Drexel, UTEP, St. Bonaventure, Ohio, Vermont, Lehigh, Sacred Heart, St. Peters, Quinnipiac, Robert Morris, and Rice

  2. 6 feet or 5’10”, this is really short for a shooting guard. This would be short for high school.

  3. SC goes cross-country to obtain this kid. Is he that good or is this the best Troy can do these days?– Anyway, apparently the young man can shoot, and that is always in short supply.

  4. Coach K.O. really likes this kid….probably because the kid’s a great shooter,…..Tequila Shooter that is.
    fit on torgan!

  5. Jeeze. I got banned from this site months ago and didn’t come back until today. What a joke. Thaibean is still a fool and Goo Goo isn’t far behind. No wonder the SC Athletic Dept doesn’t tell Scott anything. Go NOBS.

  7. USC will never be good at basketball, and soon football will be as bad as basketball. You idiots heard it from me. Remember who is better than you.

    Bill

  8. Speaking from someone who has seen this kid play in person against high-major talent, I can tell you that Dukes has been grossly underrated for quite some time. Part of it is because he goes to a small school in the Northeast. He has really put it together the past season and this summer with his ability to create his own shot and set the table for others. He’s very much like Mo Jones, but a half-foot taller. Good get for the Trojans.

  9. Love the CRAPPER, is that you NOBS ?

I just posted what ESPN had to say, don’t shoot the messenger. I hope the kid can play, he might be very very good.

  10. Way to go Goo Goo! It’s pretty obvious “BROKE-BACK” nubsie has already got you pedaling backwards…I recommend you stand your ground, and deal with this deviate or you’re gonna end up like his lover MONO! (you wanna go camping?)

  11. hey slope spic, don’t tel me how to be, NOBS is a pimple on your ass.

  12. goo goo, don’t pay attention to the bean. I got it. I take it back. Nice to see webfoot and S bucket haven’t changed. Those guys are ALL bs, I’m NO bs.

  13. Nobs, tell us what it’s like on the other side! Did you meet Jesus?

Are the Mormons right about everything?!

  14. NUBSIE….Welcome back! The guy’s at the CADRE are here to support you. The whole “GAY” thing between you and Mono was overblown. Whatever you boy’s decided to do, in the privacy of dimly lit alleys, isn’t really anyone’s business. You are gonna love your new SUCks “PLAYMATES”.
Jedrow, FeFiFo (Boy george), carLOSTb, are all a bit QUEER, but I’m pretty sure you’ll have them in “PARKING GARAGE” shape in No Time!
    Welcome back, you big PERV!

  15. Bucket (Mex) has never heard of Rice? Uhh… UCLA plays them every other year in football. You know, one of the bRuins few wins every so often (even playing Rice isn’t a guaranteed win for UCLA football, though).

    TROLL on, though!

    50-0

  16. Lol. Wow. A Boy George reference. I always had suspicions you and bucket weren’t actually the same person, but I guess this shows me. Tell me, what were the 80’s like? Seriously, you could have gone with One Direction, Bieber, Lance Bass, Anderson Cooper – really anything that came from a time when anyone actually on your football team was even alive!

tl;dr. You’re an oldfag. Enjoy your lemonparty!

  17. First Aung San Suu Kyi gets released from house arrest by the Burmese junta, and now Nobs is back on the blog! Freedom is on the march!!!
