Practice Report

Lane Kiffin emphasized the tailback competition is open.
“I’m sure (D.J. Morgan) hears from people he is the odd man out,” Kiffin said. “That is not the case.”
Fullback Soma Vainuku looked fast on several receptions and Kiffin said he was faster than most of the tailbacks. Tailback Silas Redd made a nice run where he darted left-and-right through the defense and down the sideline.
Wide receiver Nelson Agholor looked sharper Tuesday and should be in contention for the No. 3 receiver spot.
Wide receiver Robert Woods went about 15 minutes longer than yesterday and his ankle is not currently an issue. Wide receiver George Farmer and center Khaled Holmes did not practice.

  1. Redd “darted left and right through the defense…” And this is your post-practice report? This is a complete joke.

You weren’t there were you? Probably watching womens Olympic synchronized swimming instead. A monkey could do a better job.

  2. Over at the UCLA blog they have a new guy posting lengthy practice reports (from the miserable IE no less); he has not yet learned the art of feeding the readers a scrap at a time to maximize website hits.
