Pollgate

Did Lane Kiffin even fill out his top 25 ballot?
That is one explanation for Thursday’s poll fiasco. Previous USC coaches were known to let someone else in the athletic dept. fill out their ballots. And when Kiffin said he would not vote for USC, maybe he had no idea who was No. 1 on his own ballot?
It could have been filled out by a subordinate with a homer’s view of things. It’s doubtful has any interest in figuring out who the 24th-best team in the country is. But having a vote that might determine if USC makes the BCS title game? That makes his day.
So he let someone else do the actual voting. No one would ever find out anyways. But he tried to get cute answering a question about how he voted and everything went south after that.

  1. Gee whiz, Scott, do you think this is going to endear you to Kiff?– I can’t imagine Coach trusting you with any information ever again, and I am sure he has warned his staff and players to be closed-mouth when ol’ Scott comes slinking around.

So, Scott, how are you going to go about doing your job now?

You seem to delight in hurting SC. I just don’t get it.

  2. Actually, I want to know whether Kiffin knew about the Honey Badger.

Coach. Lane. F—ing. Kiffin. Say It!

  3. Fuck Pollgate!!!!…..Wolfman, try posting some relevant info, like what’s going on in practice

Leave it to the Wolfman to over stir the pot

  4. Anyways? What the heck SCOTT! How many times do I have to post:

Do not say or write “anyways”–not ever. The word is “anyway.”

The form “anyways” is found in some dialects in the United States, but it is not standard English, and it should never be used in any situation where you want to be considered reasonably well educated.

That’s all there is to it. NO BS

  5. this whole “pollgate” reeks of “lack of institutional control”…

I heard a rumor that this will lead to another 2 years ban on post season play
