Did you see the closing ceremony for the London Olympics? Who the heck was that Jessie J lady and why have we never had a Jessie J Forum or Picture of the Day? If we start promoting Ms J on the blog, do you think we can eventually get her to be hired on an American television talent show and maybe she might be able to last over a week before getting fired?
How do you think the DL depth chart will take shape by the opener?
For the 2013 recruiting class, who do you think will decommit and which player(s) will take advantage of that open scholarship?
There are a few names on the roster that we have heard little about in camp. Can you give a brief update on the following: Ryan Henderson, Devian Shelton, Anthony Sarao, Chad Wheeler, and Christian Heyward.
Would you say USC alumnus and new Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi’s leadership style is more Pete Carroll or Mike Garrett and does President Max Nikias have any plans to honor him at homecoming this season?
Immediately after Matt Barkley announced his intention to return for his senior year, his family seemed uncertain as to whether they would apply for a special insurance policy to cover extraordinary injuries, as other high-prospect returning players have done. Do you know whether they ultimately decided to take or skip that insurance policy?
Scott, I think the real liability on the defensive side is not all the D-line, but DC Monte Kiffin’s success in positioning of defensive players. I am still concerned his NFL pedigree of thinking will put players out of postion in the college game for cheap scores as we have seen the last two years.
With all the great reports on Tuerk, what happened to Banner??? Haven’t heard anything about him in over a week? Is he hurt, or just taking the time normal for a freshman lineman (Tuerk evidently is unusual in a very good way).
What is your relationship like with other USC reporters such as Michael Lev, Dan Weber, Pedro Mora, etc…
Do they not like you, and vice-versa?

How serious is the injury to Torrin Harris? he seemed to be in the lead for that Corner back spot across from Robey.
Whats the deal with Charles Burkes staying at Fullback? it sounds like Soma, Hunter and Pinner have done enough to stabalize the position. Doesnt the team need Burks back at DE at least for depth in practice?
Funny Scott, but guys like Lawyer John want the board “cleaned” up. Instead, you ban poor NOBS, who you KNOW was an insider, because he knows how the athletic dept. and other scribes feel about you. What a joke. Most of the guys you let stay are NOBODY to the athletic dept and just suck up to you. Come on.

Here’s the unanswered question I asked in the last Open Forum: What is Kiffins philosophy as to WRs? Traditionally, you had SEs & FLs but I think many if not most coaches today (especially in the NFL) just lump them all together as WRs to be lined up interchangeably at X, Y & Z. Until Prater left for NW USC had a big SE (Ausberry, Turner, Jarrett, Williams) on its roster since 2002. Does Kiffin want that big, explosive, fast SE that he used to have in Williams and Jarrett, or is he content to line up 60, 185 lb WRs on the LOS?
Have you played the new college drinking game where you have to take one shot everytime Colin Cowherd mentions SC on his show and a shot and a beer chaser every time he says “Fight on”?

I’m wondering how you came up with Oklahoma at #4 when their O-Line has been decimated by injuries? They went from being rated the best O-line in the Big 12 to being in the bottom tier.
Any idea when Mick Haley is finally going to retire and is Paula Weishoff still in line to take over?
How are Cyrus Hobbi and Junior Pomee from the class of 2011 doing? They must be redshirt freshmen by now, but I haven’t heard them mentioned this Fall by anyone anywhere. I remember you mentioned Pomee here a while back, and Cyrus is the guy who said he could come in and play right away, and the coached liked him and his confidence. He was penciled in as a center if memory serves, and Pomee a tight end. Thanx, Scott, and do you ever see them getting playing time? Pomee has Grimble and Telfer ahead of him, so a tough road to hoe unless he changes position or they leave for NFL.
