Armstead Sues USC

Former USC defensive lineman Armond Armstead filed a lawsuit against USC today in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to the Sacramento Bee.
The lawsuit claims USC team doctors gave Armstead a painkiller that caused him to suffer a heart attack. Armstead always claimed he was fine when asked about his medical condition.
His lawsuit says he suffered chest pains in February, 2011, and was injected twice with Toradol, which is used for short-term relief of pain.

  1. Armstead is a joke. Looking for anyway to come up on some cash because he couldnt be cleared to play.

  2. Money grab. Couldn’t make it so SUE. What a piece of crap….and the parents too.

  3. He Armstead, tell ’em you dropped a DUMB bell on your head and get an extra “C” note. It’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault.

  4. Tell ’em you dropped a DUMB bell on your head and you can get another “C” note. “It’s not MY fault”

  5. i konw that the attacks on this kid will be coming fast and furious, but remember, he is a “trOXan for life” so SHOW SOME RESPECT.

i dont want to see a repeat of the Stephon Johnson situation where everyone BUT the trOXans supported him. and it was all just cause he was trying to get his treatment paid for.

  6. Son of a B, mind your own business. The kid is a TURD. “Fast and furious”? You must be an Obummer dude too.

  7. California is just sue happy nowadays. It’s sad and is disappointing that Armstead took this route. Reports also claim that part of the lawsuit also involves USC denying him to transfer…I know for a fact that Notre Dame did not want to accept him because of his condition. He was able to transfer to any school he wanted too, including PAC-12 teams. No one was interested. Grow up! Not everything goes as planned in life Armond! You were able to showcase your abilities to NFL teams and none were interested. If Mike Williams and even Maurice Clarrett were able to get drafted after a year off from playing, then you have no one to blame. Perhaps that says your not NFL ready yet.

  8. The lawsuit says the Toradol injections “were a substantial factor in causing the myocardial infarction.”

Good luck proving that….If the guy was good enough he would be playing on Sundays

  9. oops too late.

Q: why are the Nabobs on wolf’s blog like a teacher’s strike?
    A: no class

  10. Correction Troy, if you could stand to watch any of the fucal-Rice game last night you would know the gutties would have taken Aromnd in a minute. Even with a heart attack he’s better than any of their DL.

  11. Q: What’s the difference between Son of Charlie Bucket and a bucket of crap?

    A: nothing

  12. DUH, so what else is new…. you were a dummy if you didn’t see this coming. Good luck Mr. Armstead. (No not necessarily the son)

  13. Let the facts play out in court, and a jury will decide if it is worth some money unless a settlement happens. Playing pro is not the issue in this case. Remember Stafon Johnson, another screw up by the Trojans who are not immune to these type of situations like any other institution.

  14. Sure T5, have the coaches figure it out like they do signing off on the scholarships. Stick to what you do best: flipping burgers.
