Freshman wide receiver Darreus Rogers said yesterday he was cleared by the NCAA and this morning I was able to independently confirm that Rogers was cleared (barely). So he will be able to start classes Monday.

  1. And while this academic troll was cleared to enroll at USC, thousands who can read and write were turned away because they can’t play football and bring in millions for the University. Don’t get me wrong, this happens at damn near every university, but it just goes to show how fucked up our priorities are in this country.

  3. I am glad ol’ UGLY Bucket used the “L” word and not me. Now lying is something UGLY knows a lot about or else why build up Wolf, who is an average sports writer, or tear down Barkley, who is a clutch player, or…never mind, you get it.

  6. The system as it is has a lot of hypocritical errors in it and no surprise to anyone. The only way this particular deal works out is when the recipient does take this gift and makes something out of it on both ends. A few USC players in the past, although similarly had grade issues, worked their butts off in class to get their degree and it became a feel good “Rudy Story” at the end.
