The key word there is “opportunities”. That means we were relevant for those six years. The last time Sucla had an “opportunity” they choked it away by letting Edgerin James run wild on them. You remember right Bucket, it was way back when people still carried pagers on the belt that held up their baggy jeans.
Aaah, yes, what a great 1998 memory, that UCKLA collapse against Miami when UCKLA would have won the National Championship if they had gotten by the Hurricanes.
