  1. After a shaky start, it was just fine. MB7 looked sharp the last 57 mintes of the game. Marquis is a beast!

Had Lee caught the last pass and the scrubs not given up the last TD, I’d have been one off on my prediction. #FTFO!

  2. The game definitely didn’t start off well but I liked that they FINALLY opened up the passing game. I didn’t see many of those awful WR screens. More down field passes to Lee and the TE’s and Barkley was very accurate. Woods was lost but the defense was once again a solid unit.

Not the best game whatsoever but I’ll take an ugly win over a loss anyday

  3. Thursday nite. Partyin. Enjoying Trojan win over the brUte’s. Standing guard over my beer at the bar. Feeling good but webhetter play better next eeek. You know it.

    Fight on!

  4. Another not-entirely-satisfactory game, but this may be ‘SC’s new normal. We just seem perennially anxious and edgy, but also stout and with a lot of heart.

We’re still the team with a lot of weapons and talent, but clearly confidence and execution issues.

  5. @I am great injury wise? didn’t notice anything about him getting hurt, just thought Silas Redd was playing really really well.

Re the game, easily most complete of the season in all aspects. Team rebounded mentally from a disastrous 0-14 deficit three mins into the game, Barkley was incredibly efficient despite a ton of drops (one of the TEs dropped a sure TD that Matt put on the money in the endzone and Marqise had some), aside from one long drive the defense is still not giving up a ton of points (first two Utes TDs were a result of their own D, not ours, and one was in garbage time), play-calling was better, even Telfer (I think) blocked a FG.

It was what the Trojans needed on a Thursday night game and I’m very excited for their trip to Seattle.

    Beat the Huskies!

  6. looks like Curtis NcNeal suffered a concussion :/ couldn’t hear during the game so missed that one..

  7. Exhausted from the anxiety of the sloppiness versus what the game should have been, about covers it…
Utah wasn’t that formitable of a team. They had little on offense and a few players on defense. But the Trojan sloppiness kept them in the game until the middle of the 4th quarter. The coaching staff should have a field day showing game film to the players.

  8. @marvgoux: They just need to clean up the penalties and nail the kicks and punts. The 1st 14 points were attributable solely to #78 and he did fine after settled down.
