Special Teams Change

Cody Kessler is USC’s new holder as Kiffin is “looking to the future.” Kiffin said it had nothing to do with Andre Heidari missing two field goals and said Heidari was “overhyped.”
Kiffin said USC’s special teams were probably the worst since he arrived three years ago, referring to penalties and other mistakes, not to mention two missed field goals.
Cornerback Nickell Robey tied a school record set by Charles Phillips in 1972-74 when he returned his third interception for a touchdown

  1. Looking to the future, while remembering the past….
50-0,…11 (MYTHICAL) Championships? hmmmm, Larry smith arrives in 87′, inheriting a loaded roster, goes 8-4, 10-2 (incl. a 50 rout of Az. St.), and 8-4-1 in 1990. FOUR Years after arriving, he’s EXPOSED and in 1991 goes 3-8 (incl, a loss to Az. St. 25-32). One year later (1992), “arrivederci larry”, after going 6-5-1.
“Its like Deja Vu all over again”.
Goat Boy gets totally EXPOSED next year. If you like TRAIN WRECKS, you won’t be disappointed.
fit on torgan! …The #1 ranked J.C. on Figueroa!

  2. Our NC in 1954 was LEGIT. So what our coach died in the wanting arms of a prostitute. RECOGNIZE!!!

  3. Thai,

    Thanks for the history lesson.
You are a walking encyclopedia of USC sports knowledge.
How do you decide which words will appear in all caps?

  4. Thailand Mexican is funny because he doesn’t realize people don’t read long posts on blog sites like this. He is also funny because he is fat.

  5. Hey ruin rod…any modern day NC, like after the leather helmet era or may be after you were born or even better, one that you actually watched…….that’s what i thought, run along you fuckin troll

  7. You gotta love how the UCKLA vermin trivialize football national championships as being mythical. I bet UCKLANs take credit for a 1954 “mythical” championship they shared with Ohio State, which went to the Rose Bowl and UCKLA did not (I think).

Anyway, Alabama takes credit for some-16 championships or parts thereof, and I bet you can’t win an argument with a Crimson Tide supporter that those are not “real” championships.

  8. @LAWYER JOHN: You’re right. A no-repeat clause sent P8 runner up USC to play OH St instead. I imagine Bruins are still bitter… Or maybe they’re grateful?

  9. The problem here is that the Bruin trolls are constantly posting BS, without first doing some homework….bucket, that means you

  10. @LAWYER JOHN: That championship Alabama claims from 1978 was after USC beat the tide in Birmingham. USC later lost to ASU but both teams finished with 1 loss. The AP voted for AL but the coaches had the good sense to pick the Trojans following the head-to-head win.
